JAKARTA - Town Planning Analyst from Trisakti University Nirwono Joga advises the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta to become a habitable city.

The first suggestion, said Joga, city residents can walk or bike in the downtown area so that air pollution should be pollution free.

"Secondly, residents are encouraged to use a variety of mass transportation (KA-KRL-KA ​​airport, light rail / LRT, bustrans / BRT) to downtown," said Joga when contacted SINDOnews, Monday (15/1/2018).

He added that in order to support the realization of the above two things, the local government must implement policies that restrict the movement of private vehicles such as cars and motorcycles.

"Such as even odd application (motor car), progressive e-parking (from the center of the parking ticket smakin mahal), the construction of park and ride at the train station," he said.

The development of park and ride, he added, could also be placed near transit stops of bus buses for drivers to park their vehicles and take the public transportation. "Provide parking areas and adequate parking buildings," said Joga.
